Understanding Fees in Posticy

At Posticy, we strive to ensure transparency and simplicity in our fee structure. This article provides a detailed breakdown of the fees associated with publishing articles on our platform, including details about Stripe Connect fees, which facilitate secure payment processing.

Fee Categories

Publication Fees:

• The publication fee is the price set by the publisher for publishing an article on their website.
• The price is fixed and non-negotiable, determined by the publisher when their website is added to the platform.

Platform Service Fee:

• A small percentage of the publication fee is charged as a service fee to support the operational and technical infrastructure of Posticy. The maximum value of this fee is 15%.
• This fee is automatically calculated and deducted when the marketer makes a payment deposit.

Stripe Connect Fees:

• Stripe Connect processes all payments made through Posticy, ensuring a secure and seamless transaction.
• Stripe charges a standard fee, which is typically 2.9% + €0.30 per transaction.
• Example: For a €100 transaction, Stripe’s fee would be €2.90 + €0.30 = €3.20.
• These fees are separate from Posticy’s service fee and are deducted during the payment process.

How Fees Are Processed

Marketer Payment:

• Once the publication proposal is accepted by the publisher, the marketer is required to deposit the agreed publication fee.
• Payment instructions are provided in the notification email and on the dashboard, ensuring a seamless transaction process.
• The Stripe Connect fee is automatically deducted when the marketer completes their payment.

Publisher Earnings:

After the marketer’s payment is confirmed and the article is successfully published, the publisher receives the publication fee minus:

1. The Posticy Platform service fee.
2. The Stripe Connect processing fee.

Important Notifications

Both marketers and publishers are notified throughout the process, ensuring transparency and prompt actions:

Marketer Notifications:

• Payment Deposit Confirmed: An email and dashboard notification confirm the receipt of the marketer’s deposit.
• Next Steps for Publication: Guidance on tracking the publication process is provided.

Publisher Notifications:

• Payment Deposit Received: Notification includes the agreed fee and detailed next steps for initiating the publication.

Marketers and publishers can track all transactions on the order details page, accessible via the dashboard. This includes:
